LinkedIn becomes the second-largest US social-networking site

With the boost of initial public offering in May, LinkedIn has become the No. 2 Social Networking site of US, reports ET.

Linked in with 33.9 million visitors in June has left behind Myspace with 33.5 million, down 50%, according to a Reston, Virginia-based ComScore report . Facebook remained the largest social- networking site with 160.9 million US visitors, up 14%. 

The company's IPO in the month of may elevated its profile amongst the investors and advertisers showcasing a stright two months of gain according to ComScore.

Linked in is innovating and adding more personalised features to carry on the winning picture. Twitter was No. 4 in the US, with 30.6 million users. That was up 14% from the previous month and a 31% increase from a year earlier, ComScore said.
